The Shade Store prides itself in being a luxury brand with exceptional service however the customer service is severely lacking. After patiently waiting weeks for our installation date, we were let down when our drapery installation was canceled due their lack of assigned labor. The next available date offered was 1 month later with a verbal apology only. Until then, this is the best The Shade Store can offer
Poor sales follow up. The sales person went radio silent and ignored me, even after I made three trips to their store and had selected my fabrics. Too bad. I ended up spending $7,000 more than planned with another window treatment company and am happy that I did so. The Shade Store lost out.
I had a great experience and have been loving my new shades! My install had a number of constraints due to the large spans, storefront-style windows, and brick/steel framing, so I wanted to make sure it was done right. Gina was extremely attentive and helpful in walking through options and advising solutions for different mounting conditions and materials that would actually work in the space and achieve my goals.
