Our group of 4 was lucky enough to score a table Friday night. The atmosphere and servers made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Our cocktails were delicious, the old fashioned was truly a stand out. Being able to order a half portion of pasta was brilliant. The pappardelle with short ribs was so delicious, like a party in my mouth. We all loved our meals, and the dessert was the perfect ending. It was a meal we will always remember! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
I was in Staunton for work and came across The Shack while looking for restaurants in the area. It seemed interesting and apparently had a James Beard nominee as the head chef, so I decided to make a reservation. This ended up being one of the more disappointing meals I have had in a long time.
