From the moment i arrive & see the receptionist i feel welcomed! Next, the nurse, she takes a few moments to listen & understand whats going on in ur life, not cuz she has to, but becuz she genuinely cares! Then off to the dr. Who listens actually listens & talks to u like u r a himan, not just like u r a job that she jas to finish. This place has made it possible for me to get the rwal !mental health care that i needed.thank u serenity Center Austintown!
I'll start with the positives and reason for two stars (as opposed to one): 1) The staff are friendly Now for the other stuff: 1) A lot of the meds I was being prescribed weren't working - either no effect or making me sick. Bc of this, the person I was seeing decided to do the genetic test to see what was going on. Now, I don't know if testing for the MTHFR gene is automatically included in the test, or if it also has to be ordered (remember for later), but it was tested, and I did happen to have a mutation on that gene.
