Sorry group preying on seniors fears. Asking for money from the very elderly people least able to pay by misrepresenting themselves as responsible for the COLA in social security. My opinion they are scammers of the worst kind!!!!
Start out asking for small donation once they get one requests come more often and 'more urgent'. A scam and they are ignoring my request that they get my mom off their list!
Have had exact same experience as other responders. Trying to get off mailing list for 2 years. Unfortunately, my mother sent them money years ago because she was a “notch” baby. She is on SS in a nursing home and will NEVER send them another dime, yet they persist with bogus pleas.
Scam trying to take advantage of the elderly. Send them nothing!
