So, today was our first time visiting The Secret Garden. What a treasure hidden in plain view. We purchased a fountain and two citronella type plants. Thier selection is wonderful. We WILL be returning as they carry things that a person will not find elsewhere. Plus, it's a fun place to browse for ideas.

Love this place! Not only do they have everything you want for your garden, they have great gifts inside! It's a good feeling to be able to support a local, family business!
If you put an ad in the Sacramento Bee listing hours as 9-4 then you should be open at nine. Waste of time driving here.

Neil - I'm so sorry if the ad was misleading. It stated that the special event Garden Faire & Plant Sale was Saturday 9-4. Saturday we were here from 6:30a til 6:30p so I'm sure we wouldn't have missed you. If you came this morning, we were here at 9:45 to be open at 10 which is our regular opening time. Again I'm sorry you made the trip and we weren't here to greet you. Hopefully you'll give it another go sometime in the future. Jennifer
Had our first visit this week and I could not rave more about how lovely this little gem is. A great selection of succulents, plants, and things to make your garden unique and beautiful. What I loved most was the customer service I received. I am new to the gardening world, but I was given so much useful information to help me. I wasn't rushed or looked down upon for not knowing my gardening "lingo." I really appreciated the time and attention I was given. I'll definitely be back!
