awesome dinner Saturday night. this place is a jem that I look forward to visiting again soon. great wines and cocktails. husband can't stop talking about the flavor of the burger. warm kale salad was perfect. most importantly the staff was very welcoming and accommodating of us as we had our baby in tow. look forward to next visit!

My friends and I went to The Savory Grain for Restaurant Week tonight. I was immediately disappointed at the failure of the hostess to even greet me when I entered after I initially said hello. Good fun Dining Experience
So I love their cocktail list-unique selections but still with ingredients that I mostly know. However their customer service is really great. I had an issue with a late night salad I had ordered for takeout and they corrected it on my next time in with no problem. Oh and their jalapeño poppers are quite yummy. That sounds like something you could get anywhere but they make it extra tasty and rather light compared to heavy.
The atmosphere was cozy with good jazz music. The food was amazing and well portioned for the price. Would highly recommend.
Ok. The oysters were really good, (they had bacon); the calamari was to die for, it had a creamy sauce with some crumbled meet. The beet salad had two kinds of beet. Mario had the mignon and it was big and delicious. I had the quail. The chocolate cake was not bad but the bread pudding was something special.
Simply delicious! Loved the ambiance and entertainment on the Saturday evening I was there. Great service also. I will def be back.
