Lived here for a year before the royal sonesta buy out. Truly a disservice to the residence of new Orleans to convert one of the last affordable (1300$ for a one bedroom 150$ for garage parking) and turn it into a hotel. Loved living here a block from canal 2 blocks from the French quarter and nextdoor to the pythian market. I had an amazing view of the Superdome and easily could walk to work on tchoupotulis. Lived there for a year.. The Saratoga Apartments do not exist anymore. The building has been converted to long-stay hotel by Sonesta. Location is great, couple blocks from FQ as well as Superdome. Staff, including security ladies were helpful and kind. The facility was good enough to make us feel home. Would love to come back! But no chance. We will miss you Saratoga 806!

At 2 in the morning, my friend shook me awake because there was a random drunk man peeing on her suitcase in our apartment. He was unresponsive to questions and tried to ... read more
Place is clean, secure and good location walkable to Frenchmen Street! I dunno what happened before, but the security is kind as well!
