RecommendedWe loved our stay at the cottages! Great spot to have a socially-distanced weekend with friends as we each had our own cabin and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. My boyfriend and I loved our cottage, especially relaxing on the screened in porch in the early mornings. Central location to easily drive to several Michigan lakeshore towns. We had a lovely two-hour picnic on Hagar Beach with the beach completely to ourselves for a good part of it. Perfect location and a great weekend!

Had an amazing time with the family during our recent stay. Cottages were very cozy and amazingly family friendly. And of course very close to several beaches. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon. They owners really seem to thought over everything that could make a stay fun and easy.

We absolutely loved our time in our tiny house cottage #3. It was like a little palace, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. Can't wait to come back again! Highly recommend the paid pass at Covert Beach Park for the perfect combo.
This places was just amazing! Nice little get-away! Owner /Operstors are very professional, nice and accommodating. The reservation process was smooth and stress free. The cottages are well kept and clean. This was perfect for me and my lady and my Brother and his wife. We had agreed time on premises with frisbe golf, bags, and fire pit. Will totally be back and I recommend this place. Cheers and thanks John!!
Stayed here last summer with our entire family and we had a blast! The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. The units were clean and came with everything we need. There were games, fire pits and a ton of fun things to do to keep the kids busy and the adults entertained :). We will definitely be going back.
Fun, old-school, small resort with the best rates in the area. We stay at Sand Castles every year for our family trip.
We have known Cara and the Lockwoods since 1980 and we had an absolutely wonderful time,, reuniting with the family,,, love Desi and Martha Jakab
