My husband experienced wonderful care from the team at Passages hospice . At Peristyle, Old Metairie, Gardens 2. Kelly Coleman checked on us numerous times and our nurses were caring and allowed my husband to pass away peacefully. Our spiritual care provider, Corey Gallaty, was excellent. When most pastoral caregivers only address the person they were sent to see, Corey Made it his business to let everyone feel included and noticed.
Being a local hospice nurse I'm extremely disappointed in your services, or lack there of!! I tried getting a young man with 4 primary cancer diagnosis with Mets to the brain and bone admitted to your GIP unit this week and he was considered ineligible... I spent days in the home trying to get his pain under control and was unsuccessful. This is what GIP is for. I really hope and pray your will change your admission criteria to fit the patient and not there insurance !! It's not all about the money
I’m grateful for the care they gave my dad here in his final days. The staff was very compassionate and courteous. My three siblings and I were all very happy with Passages Hospice.

I highly recommend this company. The employees at Passages follow through in every promise that they make. The nurses and staff were compassionate and provided excellent care to my family during a very personal and trying time in one’s life. After the passing of my loved one, the care just didn’t stop it continued well beyond into the grieving process. I will always recommend Passages for anyone in the future, who needs a knowledgeable hospice company who truly cares about their patients.
