The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

The people were Great, who committed to a great performance and customer service!
This place was cool, might be a little pricey and I feel like the boat ride/ live actor shows could have been a bit longer. It was still worth it as I got the groupon of 2 tickets for $21(great deal). It just needs some more work, the attraction is fairly new so given some more time I think it'll get better. They do a great job of trying to scare you and the actors are very enthused, so I would say it's worth checking out even without the groupon!

A little scary; a lot of hilarious!
We just experienced the Dungeon for the first time yesterday! So much fun! Love that your heart races in anticipation of the next scare, but you're smiling and laughing the whole time. Loved every second!
An awesome but hair-raising experience!
I just went today with 3 other people let me tell you the live actors did a awesome job this attraction was pretty cool well worth the money

This was absolutely so much fun! Every Character was awesome and every single room and act was amazing!! Highly recommend this for an awesome time...
I attended the preview of SF Dungeon this Tuesday and it was fun! There was a lull and had to wait due to a fire alarm going off in the experience but it just added to the fun. I got 3 photos taken arriving and then went on the tour. The actors are all WONDERFUL, playing over the top. It was great! I was "Sweaty Betty" in Judge Meade's courtroom and I won't spoil anything about it. Let's just say I "dancing in the courtroom aisles" with fun!
