I love The Sam Houston Hotel! What a gem! As a person who travels constantly for work, I appreciate the warm and welcoming staff members, the fresh and delicious restaurant, and the super comfortable beds with quality linens. The rooms are super clean plus charming and cozy (and look great in the background if you have to be on camera). The valet is prompt and very reasonably priced. Andrew at the front desk was super helpful. The rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect. I will be coming back here every time I visit downtown. Also, front desk is greatly knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Unfortunately when we stayed there was a lot of construction going on so it took away from some of the charm. Everyone was very helpful and friendly at the hotel and the room was quiet and comfortable. I did ask for my room to be away from the ice machine and the elevators but for some reason I was put directly across from the ice machine and 1 room away from the elevators but everything was quiet. They no longer have room service but you can go downstairs and place an order to bring back to you room, I got a hamburger and f... read more
