Great experience with Captain Kirk. We had 3 kids on the boat and he took it easy for them. However even on a windy evening, the boat was great for Saturday night fireworks. Great time for a small group.
Although I have never been sailing with Captain Kirk, I've worked at the harbor that he charters out of. Enjoyed the "full sailing experience" with our sail with Captain Kirk. We survived some exciting weather with a gale force wind, but Captain Kirk did an amazing job. I would totally do this again! I would recommend this ship and crew to anyone!
I took my team of 5 out on Salty yesterday and we survived a gale! It was awesome! Captain Kirk made the experience exciting and safe. I'm a sailor, so enjoyed the inclement weather, but he made the rest of my non-sailing crew feel comfortable. We can't wait to do this again! Definitely recommend it!
There is something to be said about a person who is genuinely passionate about what they do. Capt. Kirk is, indeed, passionate about sailing, and it made our trip that much better! As the owner and Captain of his vessel, you can see and hear pride he has for what he does. This was our first time sailing even though we all grew up on the water.
