It's been nearly 40 years that I've been coming to Hilton Head and was raised here part time. No trip to HHI would be complete without a visit to Salty Dog! Best food, service and atmosphere anywhere around! We've seen Salty Dog shirts all over the world and we wear ours proudly!
We eat at salty dog every summer when we visit HHI. It's a great location, good food, and family friendly
Ok, it the place you have to go to on HHI, no doubt. BUT, there are similar meals with better preparation that won't cost $6.00 just to drive to. I think general tourists will go there for nostalgia, but once you've been one time, not a necessary second trip.

Good food, great people and an AMAZING boat ride at sunset!!!!! Well worth the drive down to the south part of the island!
