We are from Kentucky, this is our first trip to Hilton Head. The Salty Dog Cafe was an awesome restaurant, the atmosphere during the day and night is very inviting and the staff is very friendly. The live music at night with trivia, is also a must see. Highly recommend the server Shaine, his customer service is unbelievable. It’s rare to find good servers, The Salty Dog Cafe is lucky to have him. We will be back down and will ask for him such a great server that truly enjoys his job.

Salty dog and not allowing dogs on patio? I understand you are not required to allow pets in the building but outside? Especially, when you have a huge space . You ca not find designated area for dog owners? And again, you call yourself The Salty Dog Cafe? Outrageous, very upsetting. I already gave a manager piece of my mind but I had to write it here as well. Bob Gossett should expect an email from me soon .
