This was my first time here with my family. Everything was extremely over priced, but the atmosphere was great. And what’s a trip to Hilton Head without coming to the Salty Dog? The kids enjoyed the ice cream and all the different flavors such as cantaloupe and chocolate chip cheese cake.
We waited 2 hours for a table and then when we sat down waited even more! I got the shirmp salad without shrimp as i dont eat seafood or meat and the salad was grilled ! Who grills salad???? The lettuce also was not cut up the head of lettuce was just cut down the middle and the end was not cut off which is a personal indicator that the lettuce was not washed. Stopped in after a long bike ride and very much enjoyed the shopping and a stop over at the restaurant. Got a table by the window. Excellent service and great food and drinks! Definitely want to go back!

We love Salty Dog!! They have the best Oreo ice cream on the planet. Love the atmosphere and the area. Can’t wait to come back
My wife had a great burger because she does not like fish. I had Crab Dip that was excellent and also deep fried shrimp dinner. Service was excellent and reasonably priced. Great Long Island Ice Tea.

Nice atmosphere, seated right away, hush puppies are sweet and yummy. Didn’t like coleslaw, fish was fresh and very tasty, overall good time but a Little overpriced. $80 for two of us, no alcohol
