If you’re in need of an excellent stylist at a fun, chic salon, go see Melissa! I have been entrusting Melissa with my hair for several years now and it has never looked better. From cut to color, Melissa takes my vision and always makes me look like a star. Not only will she take excellent care of your cut and color, she makes you feel at ease and is so smart and witty. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived even if my cheeks hurt a bit from laughing so much.

I was visiting Alameda from out of town and needed a wash and blowout. I looked at several salons and chose The Salon by Robert Lupo based on the google reviews. I was able to make the appointment that day online with Donta. I arrived a little early and was greeted right away by Ari. She smiled and assured me my stylist was on time. He has the quality that matters most to me in a stylist: he truly listens to understand what I'm looking for with my hair and at the salon, and he went out of his way to ensure I felt heard, relaxed, and walked away feeling happy and cared for. Donta is a compassionate, talented and caring stylist. He is a true artist. He is also a wise person who truly cares about his clients.
