There was an instance where a student made openly disrespectful and stereotypical comments about locs (dreadlocks), including calling them “gross” and suggesting they carry an “ecosystem.” Comments like this are not only false, but rooted in harmful biases about Black hair. DO NOT GO HERE!! I was very kind the whole time, because I understand my stylist was learning, she was not the issue. It was the head professor(Mrs. G). She was rushing the service the whole time. Told me they couldn't finish and I needed to come back another day, even though they were halfway through my service. Grabbed my credit card out of my phone to pay me out while I was actively getting my hair washed in the back, and overall she was just so inconsiderate and rude!
