This is a great place to stay when visiting New Orleans. The beds were very comfortable, the location was fabulous and the decor was very fitting for the area. A couple of things to be aware of: the shampoo and conditioner supplied is for one person so bring your own, we were aware of the stairs, still they were tough to climb after a few drinks and although the AC was cold is was noisy. We would absolutely stay here again!
I stayed here twenty years ago and the way in which 612 illustrated the essence of new Orleans is without parallel. I'm sure it's changed since the first time a yellow taxi cab dropped me off at the front gate, to be met and greeted by Blake, who was the best host I could have imagined. The room smelled of a hint of woman's fragrance that reminded me of a floral perfume and a slight residual of a fine clove cigarette that was very pleasant. I’ve stayed here several times and had nothing but great experiences. I love the location and really enjoy having some kitchen and living space compared to staying in a traditional hotel. When I’ve interacted with staff they were all lovely, they once even upgraded me to a 2bedroom unit from a studio, it was wonderful. I’m looking forward to my upcoming visit starting this Thursday!!
