I stayed at The Saint Hotel, Autograph Collection, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Marriott property. I personally witnessed live bed bugs in my room and took clear photos as proof. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. When I reported it, the hotel’s response was dismissive. The Saint is not terrible, but we would never stay there again. Had this been the first Marriott property we had ever stayed at we probably never stay at Marriott again either. The rooms aren’t terrible shape, a lot of disrepair. The sink faucet was practically falling off. We booked through Expedia and had an issue - This was to be a special trip for a birthday with a city view, Apparently Expedia overbooked and we were out of luck due to sold out hotel… Until we spoke to Niya! She saved the day not only resolving our original issue and complaint but going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay and felt welcomed and taken care of. Special thanks to Niya! I booked this hotel for my family vacation in NOLA expecting Autograph Collection quality — but it was a total letdown. I travel every week for work and stay in hotels constantly, and this is easily one of the worst I’ve experienced. The name sounds fancy and the location is great, but that’s about it.
