The water quality is horrible. Bring lots of bottled water. Also, the hot water wasn't working
We had a good experience at this hotel during our stay. The customer service exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff was super helpful with recommendations and even sent up a birthday surprise to my sister when they found out it was her birthday. I rated the rooms a three because they’re a little tight and the desk chair sort of blocked the walkway. The bathrooms also need a bit of maintenance. Do yourselves a favor and stay here when visiting New Orleans. Exceptional value for what we paid. Staff was friendly and attended to anything we needed. The location couldn't be any better. Right by Bourbon Street and not far from Royal Street. The tours pick you up right in front of hotel. Surprisingly family-friendly. Have breakfast next door at The Ruby Slipper.
Not a great experience at all. The rooms are super rundown and have nicks and marks everywhere. Stains on the carpet too. The breakfast was really bad, super bland, and seemed like low quality ingredients. Front desk was not helpful at all and I was downgraded from a room I specifically paid more for. Even worst, after a week I still have not received my points and nights credit. Every other Marriott property has that to me within 2 days of check out.
