Right off the bat, Melissa the bartender snapped at me when I asked if I could sit on the Trackside of the bar. This was my first time there and I just wanted to make sure I sat in an area that was being serviced and comfortable for HER. We had our drinks, food, played a little with the OTB, gaming machines, and when we got our billed, we were SHOCKED to see an "ADMIN FEE" on our bill which explained that it isn't part of the tip, but its a fee to help do a pay increase for the kitchen staff?!?!?....isn't that the responsibi... read more
Unique venue with a saddle/horse atmosphere. A little dark, rustic with a group style center fireplace. Great food and drink options. Lunch was kind of quiet and made it easy for conversation but it’s a very large venue with lots of smaller party rooms available. I’m sure the dinner crowd will fill the place up. Too cold for being on the patio, but it looks great with a couple of fireplaces, outside bar and a nice wooded pond view. Probably very popular in the summer.
Had high expectations from a recommendation from friends. The menu and prices suggested it was close to high end. Tuna appetizer and calamari were bland and lacked character. The half chicken was about the size of one regular chicken breast. My wife's filet came doused in a sauce that was so salty it parched my lips closed when I tasted it. No need to say we'll probably never be back.
Great food and good customer service
Great food a very wide variety for everyone to choose from. Cocktails were great, a bit high in price . Center fireplace is great to relax with a cocktail. Bar is great and overall very nice restaurant. Only downfall was slow service which should be better for the price. We would go back
