My mother has dementia and can no longer speak or care for herself. We placed her in the Rutherford. We liked the layout of the facility. The bathroom was outdated and we had to replace the shower head. The food was not great. They brought in a guy who was former military to run the menory care unit and he was horrible. No compassion. No communication. I had to report him. They did not have things like sugar, on a regular basis. Only a fed staff members were good. They have been great with working with us to get my dad in at short notice. The staff has been sweet and caring.

This was a GREAT place for Mom. She had dementia and has recently passed away. They were all so loving towards my Mom. She called it her Senior Apartment. I will miss all those smiling faces and think of them often. The staff was so good to her. She loved them as I do! Not just anyone can do this job! Babette Winchell, Murfreesboro, TN

My mother was a resident at The Rutherford Memory Care for nearly 2 years before she passed away. On my initial visit to the facility, I immediately knew that this was the place for her. The staff is professional, courteous and extremely caring. As an RN of over 44 years, I know quality care when I see it. My mother was very happy there and the staff doted and loved on her.
