The Rutherford Memory Care has been a God-send for my mother. The homelike atmosphere, the welcoming and warmhearted staff, and the amazing and diverse activities planned for the residents has made her transition from her home with me to her home at The Rutherford seamless and pleasant. Every time I visit her, she is happy and content. A big THANK YOU to all at The Rutherford Memory Care!
Our mother is happy in the memory care unit and that makes us happy! They are always doing something creative with the residents and she loves it! All of the staff is wonderful!
Disorganized, under-staffed, high staff turnover, cleaning the room was pretty much up to us apart from removal of trash in baskets. Poor communication system (I was once with mom when she pressed the intercom button four or five times over a period of 40 minutes without anyone responding). subjection of residents to 13-minute ear-piercing emergency alarm tests (director was conveniently not there when I experienced a recent one). My mother is happy here. There are activities and short day trips every week. The transition would have been smoother with some type of orientation.
My family member resides in Sage Memory Care. She gets great care and they havre one of the best Activities Directors.
