The room was clean but dated. Furniture and bed were beat up and lamps were dusty. The staff and location are nice, but it is worth noting that it is noisy at night from the bars nearby.
A classy older hotel with a nice lobby and great food. One of the better hotels albeit no mini refrigerators.
The facilities were nothing special; room was small, slightly outdated, and the air conditioning was unable to keep up as the weather approached 100 degrees (38 Celsius). The downtown location was the best feature. The daily room refresh was appreciated. In sum, it was overpriced for what we (didn't) receive.
LOUD Noise, noise, noise. The noise from the outdoor club across the street is appalling. On the 6th floor and windows closed it was LOUD. When I called the front desk to complain I got nothing but a lame "that's the way it is, sorry" . No rooms on the other side of the building that may have been quieter apparently. Unless you have no need to sleep DO NOT STAY HERE!
Incredible location in Rapid City at cross of Rushmore Rd & Main St. Restaurants, lounges, bars, & parks are all within walking distance. A bit noisy from motorbike reving that can be challenging, so bring tight ear plugs. Get a City View if possible, well worth the stay. Great place in a groovy downtown!
