I recently brought my young niece, who runs cross country and track, to Runners Edge to look for a new pair of running shoes. We were helped by a young lady named Taylor who was excellent. She evaluated my nieces stride and discovered a slight pronation issue. We went through about 8 pairs of shoes and as many trips to the treadmill, finally finding the pair that gave her the proper support and helped correct the way her foot fell. After running in Gel Kayanos for 10 years, developed tendonitis and plantar fascitis. Went to shop to get recommendation. Tried on many pairs suggested by shop. They watched my gait, checked the fit, I ran on the treadmill. Left with shoes (Brooks Glycerine) that worked. Felt no pain. Just rain 3 miles with no pain. First time in a month. Thanks for the help and attention to detail. You can't get service like that when you buy online.
This was my first time getting fitted for running shoes. The staff was very helpful in helping me find the perfect match for my feet and my goals. I like that they have a running group as well. Would definitely recommend!
I went in to replace an pair of shoes that weren't working out and left walking on a cloud. This staff is awesome!! Never again will I buy athletic shoes for my kids or myself outside of Runners Edge!! THANKS FOR MAKING MY FEET HAPPY AGAIN!
Joined Tuesday group runs earlier this year. Have seen firsthand the dedication of the staff to ensure runners have the best possible running experience. Very thorough in the shoe selection and fitting process.

Runners edge Libertyville has an amazing staff who goes above and beyond. I needed a new pair of hoka's before a marathon, and wanted enough time to wear them before the race. Kal personally went to pick them up, and I had them the next day. The run club they built on Tuesday night's has been a great addition to the area, and a great way to help improve my running.
