I had a free 45-minute consultation, which by definition should have been free. After deciding not to proceed with a divorce, I was told by the secretary that it was no problem and that since no papers were filed and no legal work had been done, I’d get most of my $5,000 retainer back—possibly with a small deduction of around $100. This law firm is very unreliable. Do not hire them if you want any progress in your divorce case. They do not respond to questions and concerns in a timely manner. FInd another lawyer, any other lawyer is better than this one.
