The staff at the Rockaway hotel were amazing. My family recently stayed because we had lost power in our home and they could not have been kinder and more accommodating. A day that started off terribly ended with my kids having the best time thanks to everyone at the hotel.

I had an exceptional Valentine’s stay here, made memorable by the GM Darren’s outstanding hospitality. He seamlessly accommodated last-minute special requests, including in-room decorations arranged discretely with my partner, and welcomed us with thoughtful touches like complimentary champagne. The team’s warm hospitality and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. A truly stellar property that I look forward to returning to! Thanks so much Darren

Well summer time is obviously the best time here but this is truly a year-round destination and a real gem for quick vacations for locals like myself! Staff member Jaylin in particular was very helpful during my current February 2026 trip. Thank you to her and all the incredible people at the rockaway!

I would not recommend coming in the winter. I been a few times in the summer. They advertise as having a “warm pool” in the winter months. I was there this past weekend and all three days I was there the pool was freezing cold. Every time I talked to staff about it they said the pool was “warming up” and to give it time to warm up.
