Second time staying at this resort. This time around has been a huge letdown. I booked thru american express since this is categorized as part of their hotel collection. Upon check in I was charged 114 dollars in addition to the fee I had already paid as part of their resort fee. Originally at check out online it was advertised as 76 dollars which is still annoying. We have actually been here quite a few times over the years during the renovation and the changes that have occurred this particular time the service was OK. The margarita that I ordered was probably one of the worst ones that I’ve had. I didn’t even finish. I asked for heavy salt. There was a very little salt on it and I’m not sure what kind of tequila they used. The french fries were very good. The flatbread pork was not. Absolutely lovely, well kept secret of this area. Terrific value for the price. On the river, huge rooms, great gym, pool(s) & spa set up (family friendly) The bar and restaurant are outstanding. All local farm to table. All if the staff are attentive, helpful and informed.
