I was extremely disappointed with the cuisine and limited food options. For a 5 star resort it did not meet my or my friend’s expectations. The food was tasteless, bland, had no presentation and for the value was very expensive and not Worth it. The front desk, pool area and the ranger hiking services provided were exemplar and exceed my expectations. Hopefully you take this review seriously and change chefs or menu. Not sure what can help. We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. From the moment we arrived, everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming. The front desk team, housekeeping staff, and valet were all exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Although this was only a quick visit, the beautiful surroundings and thoughtful hospitality made it a truly memorable one. We look forward to returning and spending more time here next time.
My family and I visited for the first time. We usually go to Scottsdale but decided to try someplace new. It was really great and the staff are all excellent and the views are amazing. However some cons to that is that since you are up in the mountains it is at least a 25-30 minute drive to anything. Also while we were visiting the CORE Kitchen was closed which left three restaurants to eat from. As you expect from any Ritz Carlton, the grounds are beautiful and the staff exceptionally - exceptional. As we stayed in August it was pretty much a ghost town, but still, all the staff were wonderful. We brought the grandkids to the pool for the day - they're still talking about the water slide. The (very excellent) waitress made sure we were well stocked with ice water (and beer! for me).
