beautiful location over looking the lake and the room service and staff in general were so nice and helpful the rooms could use a little improvement though
Just the little things like the furniture that is peeling (couches) and tables nicked bad in the open space. Parking lot needs a good cleaning too. This super picky stuff, but everything speaks. The remodel is fantastic and the food at the Lodge was great.
Sign out front is on a tarp. Formerly a holiday inn or similar. Room heater in room smelled like burning leaves. Maintenance said it happens when heaters are first fired up. We had to walk through the pool to get to our room or lobby. No room service. 1 person working at cafe. Dozen golfers in line. Aggressive Bees at the outside pool and bar. Really fun a lot of stuff to do
Five star prices with Econo Lodge rooms! Peeling paint and IKEA furniture is not worth $480 a night. I booked this room six months ago for a wedding and that was my price for a standard room. Other guests booked less than two weeks out and were charged $100 less!!! I brought this oversight up to the front desk, and I was very directly informed that prices fluctuate daily.
