RecommendedAlways creating intriguing choreography in their shows
One of the top ballet companies in the country. Performances are held at the Carpenter Center for the larger productions and at their newly renovated headquarters for the Studio Series productions. I have seen two performances of the Richmond Ballet at the Piedmont Virginia Community College from which two of my grandchildren happened to have graduated. The choreography, execution, grace, and excellence of the dancers and those who designed every step, leap and pose was beyond amazing. One of the best ballet companies anywhere in the US.
We had a wonderful afternoon at the matinee of Swan Lake with the cygnet presentation beforehand. My daughter loved all of it. She was so excited to meet the dancers and try all the instruments. We will definitely be back for the next kids event!
I really enjoyed being in the nutcracker last year and they are very nice — with Audrey Leak.
I recently attended the Nutcracker in July event. It was amazing! I went on a tour of the building, saw some costumes and met some of the staff. The best part was taking two new classes-Rhythm & Motion and Barre Basics.
