It’s a shame the owner is a racist that throws the “n” word around with ease. If he can afford to lose customers for his antiquated, vile beliefs than he’ll probably keep the customers he deserves.

I cannot day enough wonderful things about this place! As a wedding professional, I always refer my New Braunfels brides to The Retreat! Their entire staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable - you leave feeling like a queen! They’re also very accommodating and will travel to you for special occasions like a wedding- top notch service and I highly recommend!

Rude blonde receptionist that ruined my experience with this spa. I will never go back! After being told that my $20 credit expired after 6 months, contradictory from what I was told that it could be used anytime, this blonde idiot behind the counter felt that she needed to explain their policies in a condescending and disrespectful manner. Over $20, I could almost care less but her disrespectful attitude has earned my never ending review to steer clear of this house of crappy customer service.

Our persepective was different from yours. We offered to take off $20 for the referral card the receptionist noticed, but you declined. We also offered to give the owner your infomation because the front desk is obligated to follow company policy. We have no record of you ever being a customer other than the one gift certificate that was purchased for $65 on March 13, 2018 and redeemed March 23 ,2018.
