I love living here in the Retreat. Any rules are just common sense to help everyone live together. Our local management is wonderful. Maintenance is very helpful. It's so nice to have people to talk with when I go out and about. If I lived in a house, I would be very lonely at times. This is much better.
No emergency generator, heat pump ineffective during real cold weather. No maintenance, no housekeeping. Raised the rent 50% for some people. Manager is nice but her hands are tied.
At least 6 households of seniors have their heat pump out. Management brought 2 small space heaters to the senior couple that we are friends with, one of which has already quit working within 2 days of them bringing it. Very sad that Management can sit home enjoying their holiday while these seniors are sitting at home with a small space heater to try to keep warm during a winter storm with freezing temperatures in the teens.
