A wonderful community and program supportive program for single mamas, the Village has playgrounds and a walking path, an excellent team of volunteers and staff. Thankful to have a place like this in Knoxville.

I applied an application online an I'm a single mother with a 7 month old an they told me they didn't have 1 bedroom units when I need 2 bedroom for me an my baby. I really had high hopes an really thought they would help but apparently if ur a single mother with a baby than forget this place cus they will tell u go get section 8 cus they can't help a single mother with a baby. Idk if they single mothers out here on the streets with a baby or what but I felt like I was treated unfairly and seems like this is false advertisem... read more

I was first introduced to the Restoration House at an annual luncheon they host to showcase the work they do here in Knoxville. I was moved by the presentations where I saw first hand the impacts they have made for single mothers and children in the area. I decided to volunteer my time with the On-Belay children's program they run. I saw up close the impact they have on these children's lives.
