RS is a truly local gem. Between the friendly staff, the awesome management and the smiling servers, the food NEVER disappoints. For everyone complaining about price point, you get what you pay for. This establishment has been dominating the Fairfield restaurant scene for years. Clearly they are doing something right! My go-to's are the oysters (seasonal and rotating), tuna sashimi flatbread, 1/2 chilled lobster (with hot butta), and the Scallops entree.
Good and drinks were very good. Waitress was extremely rude and at one point rolled her eyes at us.
Beautiful setting and tasty, thoughtful food and ... love having dinner here. Always crowded so make reservations.
Had been looking forward to a lobster roll. We were in area and supposedly their roll was top ten according to Connecticut Magazine. $25 for a small very dry tasteless claw and knuckles only sandwich. Very disappointing. Fish and chips were very good but $24 for 3 small pieces and some fries. Beautiful view though. No need to go back with so many other choices. Bummer.
