It was very good but very expensive. The view is as advertised but this time of year you must book an early table (5:30) to see it before dark. Prix Fixe, 7 courses, two of which were excellent and the others really good. The Mulligatawny soup was excellent, as was the Swordfish. Incredible hospitality that went so far above & beyond. In awe of the gastronomical experience we had. The level of talent, creativity and homage paid to the land and culture was beyond expectation. From reserving a table to the last bite-every aspect was perfect. Can't wait to come back.

I understand Virginia wine is up and coming but compared to Napa, France, or other regions with strongholds on particular wines - there is a reason why. Overall, there's not much to dislike. My wife and I were all in for $... read more
