Came here on a girls weekend… $600 a night and they rave it’s the newest and nicest place in Fredricksburg. So we had to check it out… We get dressed up for our dinner reservation planning to drop some money because a steak is $80 (that’s more than the steak I get at Eddie vs or Jprime in San Antonio) we sit down and this is the view…. Solid food, but disappointing experience especially for the nicest hotel in Fredericksburg. The valet was wholly disinterested in helping. Definitely not elevated. We specified food allergens, celiac, and special occasion, birthday. The host, even after restated a special occasion made no effort for eye contact or warmth. We were staying at Albert hotel and went there for dinner. I got half chicken and they brought it half cooked. Then I kindly asked our server to cook it for 10 more min n still it was undercooked.

We stayed at the Albert Hotel and ate at The Restaurant for my birthday weekend. The service and food were good, we enjoyed our ribeye, chicken fried steak, truffle mac and cheese, and mushrooms. All cooked well and came out reasonably quickly. Nice ambiance and friendly service.
