***Update: In addition to ants and gnats, silverfish have become an issue as well. They are in the bathroom toilets, closet walls, bathroom floor, and in my clothing. These issues have caused me to have to move out earlier than expected so I requested to have my lease terminated 6 days early to avoid double rent payment. The request was denied by the property management. However, I will be moving early anyway because paying $3850 per month for ants in my bed and silverfish in my clothing is awful. My experience living at this apartment complex has been frustrating, particularly when dealing with management. Communication often feels passive-aggressive and dismissive rather than professional or helpful. When I raised legitimate concerns, the responses came across as defensive instead of focused on resolving the issue. It makes an already frustrating situation even more unpleasant and leaves you feeling like your concerns are an inconvenience rather than something management genuinely wants to address.
The Residences at Escaya is such a beautiful property! The community is well-maintained, welcoming, and a wonderful place to live. The staff is always friendly, professional, and helpful, which makes a big difference. A special shoutout to Samantha, the manager. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Escaya is a nice community; however I have been very unhappy living here due to the following: 1. Bugs - the apartment seems to be infested with ants and sometimes gnats. I have found ants in my bed and crawling on my neck and arms. I did some insect treatments myself which didn't work so the community pest control treated the apartment. I didn't see ants for about 2 weeks but they returned and are just was bad as before the the treatment.
