We did not stay here, we went here for dinner. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. Not only were the drinks. Excellent but the food was to die for. The service deserves an A+. Excellent highly recommend.
Our family visited Asheville for the first time, and unfortunately our stay at Lantern Lodge turned into one of the most disturbing lodging experiences we have ever had. We checked in late in the evening after dinner and went straight to bed after showering, so we did not have time to inspect the room that night. After about 10 minutes of our arrival, we noticed the AC did not appear to function well so we called. Turns out the unit was NOT connected..... They nicely moved us to another room next door. Somewhat better but the AC NEVER got below 72-75 even though it was set for 68. We even asked them to check it. Oh well. Maybe a better place in the winter. Otherwise nice.
