Listen... My sister was there this morning around 7am. This Black dude comes outside in his underwear telling the girls they need to shut the door because he's trying to work and he can hear everything they are saying. 1st of all its 7am and they arent around his bedroom window they are standing at the front door of the unit they are leaving. 🤨This dude has women in and out all hours of the night. Even a Metro property woman is making a visit to him everyday around 330-4. He screams and hollers all night long. We haven't co... read more

Just wrote my final check to this company. The apartment was in exactly the same bad shape when I left it as it was when I moved into it but they are keeping the security deposit and billed me $70. Rather than taking them to court or fighting with them, I’m paying just to be done with them. I do not recommend Metro.

Do NOT live at Metro unless you are okay with paying more than stated at move in. They will keep your deposit 100% and charge you extra for normal wear and tear. I left the unit better than I found it (it was vacant for a while upon move in, so very dirty) and I was still charged $55 for "cleaning", $140 for painting, and $180 for carpet shampooing. I shampooed all carpets before I moved out. They claimed there were scuffs and chips on the walls, but if they would take a look at my move in form, I reported all this was there... read more

I lived at this property for 2 years and was astounded by how unprofessional their customer service is. When I moved out I made sure the apartment was in better condition than the day we moved in. After refusing our security deposit we were charged an outrageous move out bill that the office couldn't back up or clarify as to why the charges were made. After calling EIGHT times without a return call from their office, I was able to finally voice my concerns and the women explained "my supervisor refuses to speak with you and ... read more

Do not rent from this company. They are unresponsive, their professionalism is poor at best, and they will charge you large fee's when you move out to cover "normal wear and tear". My sister just fought with them over a $500 painting fee (on top of additional fees) because there was dust on the baseboards and minor scuffs on the wall...things that typically fall under normal wear and tear. Unless you plan to save and want to pay large fee's when you move out, look elsewhere.

Always keeps your deposit, plus charge you more money for normal wear and tear.

Very unprofessional company, will keep your deposit even when you leave your apartment cleaner than it was when you moved in and try and charge additional fees on top of that, sad that these people have no respect for their customers, definitely will not recommend to anyone

Until this pandemic, my college student and I had no issue with her apartment rental. However, since the college switched to online, and the governor is saying to quarantine, she’s had to move back home and won’t be back until fall at the earliest. She had to quit her job so no longer has income. She no longer needs the apartment, and when she calls to try to ask to be let out of her lease, not only are management not at all helpful, but they are extremely rude and threatening! We understand the pandemic is making things dif... read more

This is how my experience has ended after nearly 2 years living at a Metro Property (Reserves at Berkeley), of which I was never late on rent nor did I ever cause any issues. With a little over 3 months left on my second year lease I came home to discover water damage to the ceiling in my garage directly below the kitchen sink. After going up and checking under the sink I could see water damage and visible mold. The next business day I notified the office and they sent maint... Continue Reading
