At first the Reserve was a good idea, after spending the summer here, it is becoming clear that we will NOT be doing another lease. While for the most part, it is an o.k. community, having to spend the summer wondering "if" the pool will be open or not, it has become a very old battle.
Staff can be ineffective, but they do it with a smile. Id characterize them as politely dismissive. They have an exercise room, but there isnt any ventilation and it isnt open after 6 PM. They say it is a security issue and claim there is on site security, so why the security isnt there to avoid vandelism doesnt make much sense. The pool isnt cleaned frequently enough and the tennis court lights dont work, but if you need drugs just hang out side building #2 and #3 and youll be able to get what you need. This is a horrible place to live. Maintenance is a serious issue and management doesnt seem to care. They blame it on not being able to keep maintenance help on the payroll. Our bathroom drawer has been broken for 2 years. The ceiling in the bathroom is falling in, the air filter was not changed for over a year and a half. I finally had to go buy them myself. Water drips from the air vent in the bedroom when it rains and the maintenance person just sprayed primer on the air vent to hide the water stains. I reported all this ... read more
It was a nice place to live. I have read other reviews that disagree with me. But sometimes it is just luck. If I would live again in Longview, definetly, I will lease again here,
