When we moved into our apartment in December 2025, the kitchen countertop was damaged from prior resident. It should have been replaced before our move in date. It’s now June 2026, I’m being told I need to pay 1K if I want a new countertop! Unheard of, I know! It’s an old Formica one, they don’t hold up well as you know, and should be replace by Capano Properties. There are bubbled burn marks from pots, deep scratches from cutting in it. I already paid the third month's rent, and the dryer hasn't worked since I moved here. This has caused me several problems and expenses because I have to pay somewhere else to do laundry, even though I rented an apartment with a washer and dryer. It's a waste of gas and time I don't have. The little free time I have on weekends isn't for my children anymore; now it's spent going out to do laundry. I'm really desperate :(
