Best cocktail in all of Fresno and the food is wonderful. The combination of reasonable prices, great food, good service make The Republican a great experience.
Went here the day before Valentine's day for a date and it was amazing. I'd never been inside of this building when it was the Downtown Club, so I was blown away by how amazing this building was. The staff was very nice and welcoming and answered all of the questions that we had. The restaurant recently changed hands so I wouldn't listen to the older reviews on this page. The cocktails were amazing, we didn't order food but those around us who did seemed to enjoyed it.
The guy was rude we had a groupon sold by the club for Fri /Sat I had my son with me for Valentine's day this was the only Saturday they was open I had reservation .the guy said he couldn't find it word couldn't describe how I feel abut this place my son was expecting a nice meal instead got a rude person and no class.
Loved it! I had a very nice experience. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted by a very friendly valet. The staff was very nice, great company. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken penne pasta. The sauce was great and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The environment was nice, I really enjoyed the natural lighting. Beautiful. I would recommend it to anybody. I will be making this a regular on my list of lunch/ dinner time restaurants!!
