I found transitioning from Magnolia Creek Residential in Alabama to Renfrew Center Dallas quite challenging and rather disappointing. Mostly because the two programs differ greatly in treatment philosophies and service delivery. Maybe it was just me not being able to adjust. Idk. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Family therapy intended to create family problems, individual therapy geared towards justifying the eating disorder, group family therapy that was just a way for the staff to tell families how wrong they are, dietician st hat were currently and actively relapsed in their own eating disorder, force feeding excessive and unsafe amounts of food, complete ignoring of refeeding syndrome, and billing so poor it is almost fraudulent.
