I really feel like Renfrew saved my life. It was a long time of in and out of treatment. Eating disorders suck but having a team who don't give up on you means more than you could know. Thank you to all the staff for treating me with dignity and respect. It means more than you know.
Look at the defensive way they're replying to the bad reviews. Taking no accountability whatsoever.
I was at Renfrew for 8 weeks in 2023. The ‘care’ I received at Renfrew, if you choose to call it that, actually further delayed my recovery. I arrived very ill, 3 years into a yet to be determined super flare. The Renfrew medical staff repeatedly dismissed my concerns. Kim, the PRN, refused to provide further support. She refused to even meet with me. I would recommend the Renfrew Center for anyone with an eating disorder. They worked very closely with me to help me. The staff was very supportive, caring and knowledgeable. The facility is extremely clean and comfortable.
