This is a delayed review. But I’ve been working through some treatment induced trauma and now feel comfortable sharing. I was there in 2019, so again one can hope things have changed, but I doubt it. Renfrew left me far worse off than when I admitted. I was hopeful because I had a coworker who had a good experience, but that was certainly not my story. Thank you for all the Renfrew’s staff members for being so supportive during this journey. I feel so much better mentally and physically after treatment. I’m am gratful I made de choice to come here.

I highly recommend Renfrew coconut creek. I couldn’t have asked for more from them. The staff is amazing and so kind. The therapists are wonderful, especially Janine. She was my perfect match for therapy and I was terribly sad to not be able to work with her anymore. The counselors are top tier and are always there for extra support. If you’re looking for a sign or debating on residentials, this is your sign to go to the Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, FL. I could describe my experience in great detail, but in summery, I just want to say thank you to the Renfrew Center! Coming here has completely turned my life around! I have to agree with all the negative reviews that Renfrew has received. In particular, I echo what Sydney said about the documentary THIN. I watched the film last year and would recommend that anyone who is considering Renfrew watch it as well. It’s a harrowing story of four women’s journeys at the center’s Coconut Creek branch. They deal with obstacles ranging from indifferent and hostile staff members to lousy insurance providers to their own demons.
