Renaissance Retirement Residence (an absolutely lovely place to live) As a past resident of the Renaissance I want to share with you the quality and efficiency of the Management, Administrative staff, Chef, Maintenance staff and any other people in charge. It was so nice to live in a place where you could meet the owner and have a nice conversation. He enjoys buying and decorating the Renaissance hallways with art from many famous artists. The Renaissance is a unique retirement residence with much to offer seniors. The staff are kind, thoughtful and very supportive. There is always something going on, and lots of social activities. The location is excellent, too. Conveniently situated in the heart of Esquimalt, residents have access to shopping, restaurants and numerous parks. The ocean is just minutes away. My mother has lived at the Renaissance for the past two years and just loves the people there.
My wife and I moved into the Renaissance almost 6 years ago and it is a move we will never regret .The staff are all very cheerful and willing to help tenants whenever needed . The accommodations and the meals are great. It's a great fit for us
I came to the Renaissance 9 yrs ago and love living here. The people are amazing. Staff with no exceptions are kind and patient and fellow residents have become my friends. The apartments are quite large with balconies. I still enjoy baking cookies so appreciate having my own full kitchen. There is a busy calendar of activities and I’ve enjoyed trips to IMax and the casino. There is usually music or a talk on offer plus regular Tai Chi and yoga.
