We had dinner there. Scallops, halibut, asparagus soup, watermelon feta salad desert. The fish was expertly prepared, cooked at exactly the correct temp, and if you know how to cook, these sea creatures have a fine margin of error. Excellent sauces and risotto. Really a fab dinner and superb drinks. Wait staff was very kind and human in the good way. Thanks!!!!!!
We had a lovely stay! Room was very comfortable. Nothing too fancy but VERY spacious with a super comfy bed. The staff was top notch and greeted us by name any time we saw them after check in. Lots of nice little touches like cookies upon check in, breakfast picnic baskets sent to your room, etc. We stay in chain hotels frequently so we enjoyed the more personal experience and charm of the Reluctant Panther. We came in the summer but would love to come back in the winter as well. Great spot to stay at if you’re in the area!
Our stay at The Reluctant Panther in Manchester, VT was absolutely wonderful. I can’t speak to the rooms or the inn but the restaurant is fabulous. The menu is seasonal. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. I had the locally sourced roasted chicken with wild mushrooms and spinach, herbed gnocchi, and crispy Parmesan. Oh my. It was incredible. Highly highly recommend.
