I worked here for about nine months and found liars, under staffing, favoritism and management who abuse their authority and staff. This starts with the CNO John Jones on down to the floor supervisors. Management will tell blatant lies, use intimidation tactics and cover up for one another. When you report them to HR they will make up false evidence to have you fired. This place wants the most amount of work out of you while using the least amount of staff possible. In the end, patient care suffers and no one seems to care. ... read more

I had my left leg amputated above the knee on Feb. 21, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis due to a staph infection. Then on March 6, 2018, 13 days later, I had open heart - quadruple bi-pass surgery. Now come The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis (TRISL) part of my life-changing story. I was transfered to TRISL on March 16th - after my insurance company rejected the claim. The doctor from TRISL called my insurance company and conducted a peer-to-peer call, explaining that i had an amputation AND open heart surge... read more

Family member was sent here for rehab care before and after a procedure. Health South PT /OT personel were great! Patient rooms were dirty. Response time for call bell just being answered was about 15 min and for help getting up around 30 min. Rang for pain meds twice no one ever came to give them after 40 min family member feel asleep. No hot water in sinks in rooms. Lots of stuff stored in hallways hard to get by. Food was terrible. Drs do not treat sick people so don't get sick while you are there. Would not recommend if ... read more

Just visited my aunt, I was expecting the worse considering the reviews. I was surprised the facility was clean and the staff that I talked to were professional. Look back at the reviews and they were old. Now waiting to see them work there magic with rehab.

My aunt is here for rehabilitation due to brain cancer. Being in the nursing field, this facility is very very clean, orderly and makes you feel safe and secure. The staff is very attentive and seems to carry out their duties in a timely mannor. Call lights did not remain on for very long and routine meds like breathing treatments were carried out on time. I would definitely recommend this facility. I loved the fact it is apart of Barns Jewish Health Systems.
