I think the other two reviews were written by disgruntled staff. My mom was at Harborchase and loved it! The staff is very helpful and kind. I have been so grateful for them!

The administrator at Harbor Chase will actually ban people from the building even though they are a welcome guest of the resident....without the resident being notified. She and the nursing staff will often interfere with freedom of choice for medical providers. They frequently disregard Florida rights and regulations for assisted living residents. DO NOT send your loved one there. Shop around. There are other good facilities in Tallahassee.
The nurses sometimes neglect their patients. I would not recommend this facility to anyone i know. Especially for those who are weak and unable to take care of themselves at all. I pray for those that are not getting the help their families are paying for and deserve.
After attending the Open House at The Regent on Sunday, July 26, 2009 I was impressed with the public spaces offered at the complex. Dining, theater, and a fitness center were all available in a luxurious atmosphere. At the end of the tour furnished apartment units were available to view; one and two bedroom units. I guess the assumption is that you will spend most of your day in the public spaces so there is no need to have a large apartment with storage.
