When a business calls to ask if you will delay your appointment by 30 minutes, you adjust and wait-understandable. At the end of that 30-minute delay, they call again-this time to cancel the appointment altogether, after you have already been sitting waiting an hour. That is not just inconvenient, it is unprofessional. People rearrange work schedules, family responsibilities, and personal time for their appointments.
