Great service in a really cool old house.
This is honestly the best restaurant on Cape Cod. The food is locally sourced and expertly prepared, and I haven’t had a meal there that didn’t blow me away. The setup is charming and homey, with a nice mix of antiques and moderns touches. The owners are very present, but they have trained their staff beautifully, and it’s clear that everyone is invested in doing a great job. amazing food in a beautiful setting
It pains me to write this review since for the past year I had considered The Pheasant my favorite restaurant on the Cape. You still won't find a place with more charm or character here, but my last couple trips I have found that the menu leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if it's because the place has become more popular, or ingredients more expensive to procure, or that they are struggling to maintain a creative rotating menu, but things seem to have gone downhill.
